3 + 2 + 1 Love card

This week on the Fun Stampers Journey blog they issued a 3 + 2 + 1 challenge to help promote the Plus One promotion running this month.

I decided to play along and picked out three papers from the
Vintage Paris collection paper pack, two dies: Doily and love from Snapshot Frames and one Gold Elements.
I fussy cut out three flowers from the patterned paper as well as a couple pieces to layer on and bring them a bit more dimension.
I also added some Sparkle Dust and attached the love die with a Photo Pin Element.

I love the way this card turned out.

Until February 29th when you buy one paper pack you get to choose another one for free. Most accessories including the ones I used are buy one get a second one for free.  Contact me or order on my site here.

Thanks for stopping by.

For the love of Cool Pool

One of the great things about Fun Stampers Journey is the fantastic colors.  Cool Pool is one of my favorite colors.  My first instinct was that or was just a spring or summer color but I found a way to use it for Halloween.  Here is a cute pocket card that would make a great treat holder.

Oatmeal Cookie & Hazelnut Blend cardstock
Going Places Prints
Cool Pool ink & ribbon
Bronze Silk
Photo Pin Elements
Star Frame Elements
Zombie Nights paper (disc)

Meet Megan

This weekend I was able to take a trip to Hobby Lobby and couldn't resist buying a Julie Nutting stamp.  I chose Megan.  For some reason the full skirt called to me.

I decided to make a long overdue birthday card with Megan.  She should go postal tomorrow to a special person.

The card is large, 6" x 8 1/2" and uses a large journaling card.  I'm still learning to use my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers but don't think I did too bad coloring this image.

On my desk

In an effort to post regularly I thought I'd share what I'm working on today.

I started working on some ATC for a swap I just joined.  I used SS-0035 Enjoy Coffee and AT-0108 Ink Splat from Fun Stampers Journey.

I'm not sure exactly what the final result will be but having fun working on some at to share and get some samples of other ATCs.

Like what you see? You can buy stamps and supplies I'm using as well as lots of other fabulous products at Fun Journey Stampers
